If you are looking for authentic Spanish food without spending a fortune, Casa de Fujimori in Kannai is well worth knowing about. I do not often eat Spanish cuisine, so when I heard that this restaurant is officially recognized by the Spanish government, my interest was immediately piqued.

Despite that reputation, prices for both lunch and dinner remain surprisingly reasonable. For my first visit, I decided to try dinner, which turned out to be an excellent choice. In this review, I will share what the atmosphere was like, how the live guitar music added to the experience, and what the popular course menu was actually like.
If you’re planning a food focused trip to around Tokyo, Minatomirai or Kannnai is a great place to start.
About Casa de Fujimori (Location & Access)

The easiest way to explore Yokohama’s!
Klook.comFirst Impressions: Location and Interior

The restaurant is easy to reach from both Kannai and Nihon-odori, even at night. Inside, the space feels simple yet warm and welcoming. Nothing felt stiff or formal, which made it easy to relax despite it being my first visit.
I visited during the Christmas season, and the small festive decorations added a cozy touch without feeling overdone.
Evening Atmosphere and Live Music

One of the highlights of Casa de Fujimori Kannai dinner is the atmosphere. The lighting is fairly bright, making it easy to enjoy the food properly. At 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm, a guitarist performs live. The music instantly brings a Spanish feel to the room and makes the evening feel special without overpowering conversation.
Most guests were couples or families. The restaurant felt calm rather than noisy, which makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner where you actually want to talk.
What I Ordered: Weekday Dinner Course

As this was my first visit, I chose the weekday-only ¥4,500 course. You can order à la carte, but for newcomers, the course offers excellent value and a good overview of the menu.
Course Highlights
Pinchos (Tomato & Cheese / Avocado & Marinated Sardines)

The rich cheese and tomato, salami contrast beautifully with the sharp acidity of the small sardines. A great way to start the meal.
Fisherman-Style Clam Stew

Large clams and scallops sit in a thick, pumpkin-based broth. Dipping bread into the sauce is dangerously addictive, and satisfaction levels are already high at this point.
Spanish Omelette (Tortilla Española)

Cut thick like a cake, this omelet is surprisingly soft inside. The flavour is gentle and comforting.
Sizzling Mushrooms with Bacon

Large mushrooms topped with paprika and bacon, seasoned boldly and cooked until juicy. Once again, perfect with bread.
Seafood Salad

Prawns, octopus, and clams come together in a refreshing salad. Light, yet full of seafood flavor.
Seafood Paella (Main Dish)

The dish I was most excited about. The mussels were tender, and the rice had a crisp, aromatic base. Adding lemon lifted the flavors even more. Staff kindly portioned the paella for us, which kept the table relaxed.
Dessert Plate

Grapes, crème brulé, and a roasted sweet potato–flavored sorbet. The sorbet was unusual and memorable, with a very homemade feel.
After-dinner Drink
Choice of coffee, tea, or herbal tea.
Drinks, Wine, and Budget
As you would expect from a Spanish restaurant, the wine list is extensive. Beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options are also available, so everyone can find something suitable.
Portions throughout the course were generous, and I left comfortably full. For dinner, expect to spend around ¥5,000 per person. The weekday ¥4,500 course (Monday to Thursday) offers particularly good value and works well for dinners with friends.
Tips for Visiting at Night
